Mrs. Furches treats families and individuals from a systemic perspective and assists clients with a variety of personal, emotional, and relational problems. If your need for services is beyond the scope of Mrs. Furches’ clinical expertise, then she can make a referral for appropriate care

Any information shared in session with Mrs. Furches will be kept confidential unless you express intent to harm either yourself or someone else and if a child or elderly person has been abused and/or neglected. Mrs. Furches is legally mandated to report such incidences. Also, a court might order Mrs. Furches to testify regarding your therapy.

Qualifications

Mrs. Furches holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (1999) and a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (2007) from Appalachian State University. She is provisionally liscensed by the state of North Carolina as a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate. She has been involved with family issues since 1993. Her experience includes:

Fees for Services

Mrs. Furches’ fee is $75 per one hour session. (Bald Mountain Baptist Church members, $50 per one hour session). Payment with cash or personal check is expected at the time of service unless other arrangements are made ahead of time. Insurance will not be billed directly. A receipt will be provided to the client after each session which can be submitted to his/her insurance company for reimbursement.
