MISSION FRIENDS
Children age three through Kindergarten are encouraged to attend Mission Friends on Wednesday night. A different missionary and his/her family are studied each month. The children also have an opportunity to participate in mission activities. Mission Friends meet in the first Sunday school room past the elevator.
GIRLS IN ACTION
Girls in 1st – 6th grades are encouraged to attend G.A.’s (Girls in Action) who study about home and foreign missionaries and conduct mission projects. This month they have been studying about home missionaries in Louisiana. They have really enjoyed sampling rice and jambalaya. GA's meet in the third Sunday school room from the elevator.
Royal Ambassadors use Games, Stories, Bible Verses, and Activities to
challenge children at their levels of competence and interest. Royal
Ambassadors has two age/grade organizations: Lads and Crusaders
Lads are boys in the 1st through 3rd grades.
Lads' motto: "Learn and Do in Jesus' Name."
Crusaders are boys in the 4th through 6th grades.
Crusaders' motto: “Help Others in Jesus' Name."
At present, we have combined both groups into one and meet every
Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. Our last project, a fundraiser for the Annie
Armstrong Easter Offering, raised $245.00.
Our primary goal in R.A.’s is to teach our boys how to have a personal
relationship with Jesus Christ.
