Announcements for Week of July 14

Ashe Really Cares is looking for folks who would like to volunteer in the food service part of the ARC. If you have some volunteer time to give, call Pat at 336-846-5234. Nothing like helping the hungry to have some food. We appreciate everyone who volunteers, donates food and clothing, as well as household items and we appreciate our neighbors who use our services at Ashe Really Cares. Thank you, David Blackburn

The following items will be collected for the at Children’s Church project at the middle school: toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, soap, deodorant, combs, & brushes. A trunk will be located at the kid’s entrance to place these items in.

If you would like to contribute food items to the Middle School food pantry, a suggested donation list is at the Connect Center. Items can be dropped off in the Kids’ Wing hallway collection area. Contact Emily Calloway or Terrie Clark who work in the middle school health clinic if you have any questions.

If anyone is interested in Outreach / Visitation, please contact the church office or Ronnie Hopkins at 336-977-1070 or Jack Pugh at 336-620-1551.

Have you lost someone close?  You don’t have to go through this difficult time alone.  BMBC offers a Grief Share Group at the church Tuesday evenings at the 6:00pm. Check Grief Share on the Home Page for upcoming group schedules and pre-registration or call Peggy Ashley at 828-421-6939 or the church office.
