Announcements for Week of November 11
Children’s Christmas Project—If you are interested in shopping for one of forty children assigned to BMBC, please go to the Connect Center before or after services on Sundays or on Wednesdays to get a red card with the name of a child and their “wish list”. Gifts must be delivered to the church by November 25 or to Ashe Family Central by 8:00 AM on Monday, November 26. Sign up at the Connect Center or call the office if you are interested in wrapping on November 26 from 9-12 pm.
Grief Recovery Support Group – If you’ve lost someone close to you, or know someone who has, consider joining this support group which meets on Sundays at 4 pm at the Ashe Baptist Associational Office.
Amanda Calloway is handling PRAYER REQUESTS for the church to be sent via email to the BMBC Family. If you have a request, please send it to her at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 336-877-7801. If you would like to be added to this group, put your email address on the tear off portion of the bulletin and place it in the offering plate.
Smoke detectors are available free of charge to anyone (inside or outside the church). Installation is free as well. Please contact Jerry Beck at 252-725-5692 if you are interested in getting one.
Please note that the PICNIC SHELTER must be reserved just like the Fellowship Hall. Call the church office if you would like to use it. Anyone who uses it must clean up and remove all trash from the premises.
Please do not park anywhere you see yellow paint in the church parking lot as it obstructs the view to get out into the road and could cause an accident.
Saturday, 11/10 Feast in the Fields We plan to assemble approximately 1200 meals to be sent to 28 tree farms. There are so many ways to be involved in this outreach ministry: we need food (see the sign up boards in the foyer and Fellowship Hall); we need cash donations; we need many people on Sat the 10th at 8am to help in the gospel tract room, on the serving line or the packing line; we need drivers to take the meals to the farms; we need Gideons to distribute Bibles; and most importantly, we need people to pray over this ministry! Please find your area of interest and join in!
