Announcements from the bulletin: Week of April 22
Beginning Monday, April 23, the church office hours will be 8 am — 12 noon, Monday-Friday
Bald Mountain Ministry to Women is sponsoring an Old-Fashioned Pounding for the Dillard family. (A Pounding is a way to help stock a pantry with non-perishable foods or cleaning supplies.) We will be collecting items through April 22. Drop items in the designated area in the downstairs hallway outside the Fellowship Hall. Gift cards are also acceptable, but please hand deliver to Drew Yount or bring to the Church Office.
CHURCH MEMBERS: if you have a baby or child that you would like to have dedicated, we will have that service on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 13. Call the church office by April 30 to get on the list.
SENIOR ADULTS Trip to Mrs. Hanes Moravian Cookie Factory in Clemmons on Thursday, May 10. Limited to the first 20 to sign up! For more information, contact Larry Branch: 336-620-8010
Sunday APRIL 22 —Deacons that will be voted on May 6th are: Steve Heafner, Ronnie Hopkins, Jon Calloway, and John Stuerwald. Please be in prayer for these men that have expressed a willingness to serve the church in this capacity.
Please note: There is NO children’s church today (April 22), but we will meet in the fellowship hall next Sunday, April 29. Volunteers are needed for the next quarter: June, July and August. Contact Kim Arnett: 336-977-2478.
April 23—Men’s Monday will meet at Rick Farmer’s home at 6:00 p.m.
April 25: There will be a business meeting this Wednesday,
April 27-28: YOUTH Lock-In & Camp Clean up; Lock in will be at the church and we will work at the Ashe Baptist Camp on Saturday morning. Please arrive at the church for the Lock-In by 6:30- Bon fire with Cook-out dinner. Clean-Up at the camp should be done by 3:30 Be sure to bring old clothes and shoes for Camp-Clean up. Please let Chris and Nicole Farley know if you will be attending the Lock-In for food purposes.
**Also: We have a few spots still open for Camp Caswell: rising 7th Graders- Graduating Seniors.
APRIL 29 Gideon Speaker with Special Offering
BE-DO-TELL Camp Caswell: July 30 – August 4. Registration is now open with a $25.00 deposit. We have 32 spots available and need to know who will be going by March 28th. Camp is open to upcoming 7th graders through Graduating Seniors. Contact: Chris or Nicole Farley
An opportunity for YOU to serve: Bald Mountain is scheduled to clean the Ashe Baptist Campground on March 24th and March 31st. We would like to meet at the church at 8:30 and work until 4ish on both days. Lunch will be provided. This is for the youth group, but would love to invite as many that could come to attend (anyone in the church); many hands make light work!
