Josh Ogle, Youth and Children's Pastor
A Tennessee native, I moved from my hometown of Seymour, near Knoxville, in 2013 to follow God’s calling into ministry preparation at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. While there I earned my Master of Divinity in Christian Ministry degree and developed a heart for discipleship and seeing Jesus move His people to join in the mission of advancing the kingdom of God. The Lord brought my family to Bald Mountain in August 2016. I am praying for the Holy Spirit to start a movement in Ashe County that sees many children, students, parents and grandparents realize their need for Jesus and turn to Him. I look forward to the day when we are sending families out of our church and into the world to advance His kingdom by making disciples who make disciples.

I fell in love with my amazing and beautiful wife Maygen while attending the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. We have been married for three years and recently welcomed our son Jaxson into our family in May 2016. Together we have served in children, youth and college ministry for four years. It is our prayer and desire for God to use our family to make much of Jesus and lead families into the amazing journey of life with Jesus.

Aside from spending time with my family, sharing life with students and their families, I enjoy rooting for the Tennessee Vols, watching and playing sports, hiking, camping and drinking a good cup of coffee.
